About Bob Wilmot
Senior Business Consultant and Mentor
Prior to becoming a consultant, Bob held a variety of Board level positions and has particular experience of the retail and wholesale sectors as well as many commercial functions including Marketing, Sales, Buying, Trading and Merchandising. Having gone through a successful management buyout, sold a growth business, set up new businesses and turned ailing businesses to profit, Bob has a wealth of practical knowledge. He is also the man responsible for growing book sales in supermarkets, notably securing a £16m deal with Tesco’s in 1996 – and managing the rapid growth plans required to fulfil it - as well as negotiating many profitable contracts with other retailers. Bob is a qualified member of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Independent Business Consultants. He also holds a Diploma from the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
In addition to consultancy work, Bob also works with a number of clients as a business mentor.
